Challenge Rules – How it Works

The Challenge

• 30-day, winner-take-allstep challenge
• Entry fees staked to the challenge vary by size and type of company:
  • 2-99: $500
  • 100-499: $1,000
  • 500-1.499: $2,500
  • 1,500-4,99: $5000
  • 5,000+: $10,000
• The pot is collected by United Way goes directly to support Gen-H and go Vibrant’s neighborhood health initiatives in the winning companies’ names.

The Rules

• Steps tracked via activity tracker device, app, or phone linked to company’s wellness platform (e.g., Cerner Wellness, Virgin Pulse, etc.)
• Company with the highest average number of steps wins (15k maximum daily steps per participant)
• 15% minimum employee participation per company required to win (local employee count only)

The Timing

• Challenge runs April 1 through 30.
• Platforms reports leaderboard in real-time on go vibrant website .
• Winners announced at the Business Courier’s Healthiest Employer Awards in May 1, 2018
